Linda Cleet
Linda Cleet is a Long Island native. But an employment relocation program gone wrong landed her in the company of Misplaced Comedy… It’s a longer story than that, but we really don’t have the server space…
She joined Misplaced Comedy while voicing several sketches during the making of The Misplaced Christmas CD, and was a natural from the start. Although she’s new to Misplaced Comedy, Linda is most definitely not new to the stage. From the time she was 4 until High School Graduation, she was both a tap dancer and instructor. In 1996 she won the town title of “Miss Wantagh,” then competed for “Miss New York.” Although she didn’t place, she did come out with the experience of a lifetime.
After her day job moved her to Sarasota, Florida, she then also competed in The Miss Florida USA Pageant. Linda then landed the role of Riza in the interactive dinner theater production of “Grandma Sylvia’s Funeral,” where a majority of the Misplaced Crew decided she should be a part of the team.
